busy, busy one! Met with about 20 different people, went to a university. I'm already tired of tea, SMILE!
Wow, they drink lots of that--morning--2 tea times a day, dinner, after dinner, at any event, etc.etc. Going to the US Embassy for training (like I did las October--not sure why I must hear what I heard 6 months ago, but...oh, well! Then off to give a lecture at the ZTBL bank.
The other night, Faisal came buy to tell me he would be gone Friday--he is going to his brother's wedding. I will supply pictures and explain--it's a 3-day ordeal--very interesting. He asked me to go (I would LOVE to, but, NOPE according to US Embassy, boo:(. Also, my friend at USEFP, Nadia, was gone yesterday. I asked her why and she said that her aunt had died. I asked about the funeral (or whatever) and she said they have an "event" 40 days after the death--I need to look that one up. Isn't it odd (and fun!) what other cultures do.
Has it stopped raining in Louisville YET...geezzzzz
